The British Time Trial Championships are held under UCI regulations. There are significant differences between what is permitted for CTT time trials and the BTTC 2010. You are advised to consult the UCI technical regulations in advance of the event.

BTTC Regulations: Please review the CTT web page BTTC Conditions, in particular paragraphs 7 and 11:
7. The wearing of protective hardshell helmets is compulsory for all competitors.
11. In all categories except Masters, machines to be used shall comply with current UCI Technical Regulations. Juniors shall be restricted to a gear of 7.93 metres.
Junior Category: As noted above, there will also be a gear restriction of 7.93 metres for juniors.
